Julia Stiles rose to prominence after the 1999 movie 10 Things I Hate About You, opposite the late Heath Ledger, turned out to be a big hit. Since then, however, there’re no known films of the now-40-year-old actress that matched her most famous movie. Heath went on to do several hit films, like Brokeback Mountain and The Dark Knight before his passing, while Julia seemed to be gone off the spotlight.

There’re even reports that several of her succeeding movies flopped. Julia continuously worked on the business, and made her writing and directorial debut with Elle magazine’s short, Raving, starring Zooey Deschanel. With her degree in literature, she surely has the right to be a writer. She’s also back on the limelight today and was part of the TV series Riviera and had two upcoming movie projects, The God Committee, and Orphan: First Kill.
