Fans will easily remember David Caruso as Detective John Kelly on the ABC crime drama NYPD Blue and Lieutenant Horatio Caine on the CBS series CSI: Miami. He also has several movie projects, and the last one is the 2000 Proof of Life. The now-65-year-old actor then took his final bow in 2012 after the cancellation of one of his TV series.

There’re several reasons as to why David left the business. Rumors have it that it has something to do with his high salary, attitude problem, being typecast, and more. The real reason, though, is that he chose to be involved in the art business, opening a gallery in Westlake Village. David made good use of his investment money and founded DavidCarusoTelevision.tv and LexiconDigital.tv. He also co-owned a clothing store in South Miami called Steam on Sunset, focusing his attention on different business ventures.
